GABA Oolong

The dry leaves are lightly rolled hemisphere shapes, and feature earthy colors like tan, black, and forest green. Because the tea is rolled loosely, the beautiful colors of the tea leaves become more obvious after a quick rinse.  Once brewed, the color of the tea liquid is dark gold, and exudes an obvious floral and fruity aroma.  A strong scent of baked sweet potatoes is also present.  The first sip is extremely sweet and smooth.  The second round of brewing features strong notes of sweet potatoes, and fruit sugar.  A gentle floral note comes through on the aftertaste.  The third round maintains the strong GABA aroma, with a hint of added roasted chestnuts.  The tea soup color is becoming that of dark amber.  The flavor is now dominated by sweet notes of baked fruit, brown sugar, sweet potatoes, with a continued floral flavor on the finish.  None of these notes are overpowering.  In fact, they are quite gentle and comforting.
